No I didnt die... just been really busy with work... I AM FINALLY OFF OF TRAINING!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! I am not riding by myself just quite yet... I ride with a senior officer... but NO MORE TRAINERS!!!! I am having sooooooo much fun!!!!

Anyways... not much else is going on with me....

Good News.....

No I didnt save a bunch of money by switching my car insurance over to Geico.....

Well my aunt C has heard from my cousin's wife... the Navy rescued her, the baby and her mom from the attic of their house and they are now on a naval base somewhere.... but they are safe and the only injury is her mom, she broke her arm... nothing too serious though...

my dad is with my grandma and uncle D this week... helping clean up my grandma's house... cutting large trees that fell, but thankfully not on her house...

i am regretfully still on training... my sgt didnt want me to go to my last week with a "weak" interviewing base... that is the only thing holding me back apparently... everything else is great... but he wants be to be "more confident" when i am talking to people.... yeah i was so frustrated and a little angry today that i put 3 people in jail.... 2 drunks and 1 asshole that thinks that just because a girl hits you, she deserves to have the shit beat out of her, so she can learn her lesson....... grrr

I have to give "props" to OB for speaking what she thinks... I argee with her, what's scary is that she said what i think when i watch the news or read the papers... YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

Oh the reason i was typing this today... I FINALLY GOT MY DSL!!!! about damn time.... i only ordered it in JUNE!!!! fucking slackers....

More News...

Well we still havent heard from my cousin's wife, her mother or the baby (well we really dont expect to hear much from her, considering she cant talk yet...)

my dad left this morning to go help out and check on my grandma... and my uncles and aunts.... worse news though... we havent heard from my aunt mary f, my cousin A, or her brother C.... hopefully they are ok and my dad can find them...

work here has been crazy since hurricane evacuees are being sent to my fair city... we are all working overtime... alot... anyone that requested monday off.... it was cancelled until this..... whatever you call it, subsides....

oh yesterday, i was involved in my first foot persuit.... we ran for about a 1/2 mile, and boy was i pooped.... yes we caught the guy... my coonass temper came out..... bad.... i was seening red as i was chasing him... i was screaming M.F. stop running!!! quite a bit.... at one point i even told the guy to stop running so i could kick his ass... of course i didnt say any of this over the radio.... but according to other officers, i did a good job putting out his description while i was running....

well... i'm tired... i'm going to sleep, tomorrow is my day off... until i get called to work!

Freaking Hurricane!!!!

Well as you all know, 1/2 my family is from Louisiana.... the part that is underwater..... my aunt c and her hubby were able to get out in time... they are staying with my grandma, who is staying with my uncle D... he says that they got the west side of the storm, so they got lots of rain and wind, but nothing too bad... my uncle R and aunt E live in Slidell.... that is underwater also... they are staying with friends in baton rouge... but my uncle R is going back to see if there is anything that he can do to help... that and check on his house... my cousin, who is in the navy, got called out right before the storm hit... to move the ships out to sea... he left his new wife and newborn in pascagoula, mississippi... right where the storm hit the hardest... we havent heard anything from her, nor her mother who was with her at the time... hopefully she is ok.... but my dad has a bad feeling in his stomach... and its not indigestion either... i hope that she and the baby are ok...

well if i hear more... i'll tell ya'll...

Ugh... i hate myself... i cant stop thinking of asshole hockey guy.... but i found out his reason for not wanting to date me....... get this....... he said he didnt think that our personalities didnt match..... i call bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him that i knew that he had been seeing someone else while he was dating me.... he was silent for a good 5 min... i guess he didnt think that i would figure it out............. HELLO!!!! I'm a cop.... i deal with people lying to my face everyday... i've figured out the signs... I'M NOT STUPID!!!!! is what i told him..... the he had the nerve to tell me that he would call me in a few days after i've cooled off..... i told him that i would call him..... he asked when..... i told him not to hold his breath.... grrrrrrrr....

So tell me this.... why are guys assholes??? i dont know anymore... i give up... i'll let the committee pick the guys that i date... cause i apparently am not doing a good job.....

Well this weekend was fun... went to my friend's baby shower... she is about to pop! went swimming today! first time that i've been in the pool here at my place...

this weekend... hockey guy texted message me.... everyday... friday thru today... he called earlier, but i was at starbucks... with my homegrown friends... getting a phone number for my best bud... she was too scared to do it... so me and my other bud went and got it for her! i told hockey guy to call me back later... after his hockey game... i doubt that he will... if he does... he does.... if he doesnt... then oh well...

still looking at fish for my tank... sweet pea is starting to turn into "ms bitch" she is pushing the other 2 fish around the tank!

gonna go now... tired and i did absolutely squat today!!
